VinArte Wine Tasting at Phoenix Art Museum

August 15, 2009

If strolling the downtown Phoenix streets hopping from gallery to gallery and rubbing elbows with chain-smoking hipsters is not quite your thing, the Phoenix Art Museum may have upped the anti. At least for those that prefer a little bit more sophistication in your First Fridays arts ventures, the Museum hosts the VinArte Wine Tasting series. A wine tasting and art viewing event open to all levels of wine connoisseur, from novice to expert. Premium wines and appetizers are presented by co-host Arcadia Farms, with proceeds benefiting PhxArtKids Gallery.

ArtLink’s First Fridays features over 100 art venues every first Friday of the month, as it has for since 1994, and may be the largest “art walk” in the country.

VinArte schedule:

  • Friday, September 11 * note, second Friday due to holiday
  • Friday, October 2
  • Friday, November 6
  • Friday, December 4

Visit the Men’s Arts Council web site for details. VinArte Wine Tasting price is $30, with wines available for sale at discounted prices. Also look for Men’s Art Council’s annual Wine Party in the Spring.
